Prayer Points

Praise Jesus that He came "to proclaim good news to the poor… to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor" (Luke 4:18-19)
Confess our sins, knowing that "if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins" (1 John 2:1-2)
Pray for our Cell Groups as they seek to relationally foster growth in the grace, knowledge and love of Jesus, while praying and supporting each other.
Pray for our brothers and sisters facing persecution throughout the world - to be bold and wise in sharing their faith and – that despite the challenges – people would come to Christ.
Pray for the upcoming Friends of CEIS event (Tuesday May 7) - for more people to hear the history, vision and mission of CEIS and to contribute to this deep and wide gospel ministry cause.
Give thanks for Esther Lee's ministry internship in our church, and for all God is doing in and through her. Ask God to give Esther wisdom for next steps in her ministry.
