Prayer Points

“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!” Phil 4:4. May we find joy in Jesus, who loves us, cares for us, and gives us strength to rejoice in any circumstance.
“He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he.” Deut 32:4. Thank you Lord being our Rock, a faithful and unwavering God. May we find comfort in His steadfastness.
Thank you Lord for your forgiving love, high as the heaven above and remove our sins far as the east from the west. (Ps 103:11-12). Praise our gracious and loving God, may we keep our eyes on Him always.

Please pray for our major mid-autumn festival themed evangelistic event at FOCUS international. Please pray for God’s hand over the logistics, for boldness for our students to invite their international friends and that lots of people to come.
Please pray that “Jesus is King” will be preached faithfully and clearly from the gospel of Mark. Pray that people will know that Jesus is more than a myth and be convicted of His relevance to them, and to respond in wanting to know him more and in repentance.
Pray for her plan for next year, pray that God will lead her in serving and equipping her further for His Kingdom. Pray for her physical health and find energy in balancing her time between ministries and self care.

City Bible Forum:

pray for the upcoming Morning Brief (16th Sept) on how to handle conflict at work, and many other session designed to practically equip and encourage life at work as Christian.
Pray for the ongoing activities in connecting Christian workers, mentor and equip them to stand firm and share the Gospel in their work place.

Senior Ministry Meeting. Date: 19 Sep (Sat) Time: 2-4 pm. Topic: First Aids for Seniors. Speaker: Dr. Cheuk Cheung, General Parctitioner. Managing one’s physical health is an important and often complex issue, particularly for those in their senior years. This interactive talk will aim to discuss a few common acute health concerns that affect seniors and provide general education and tips on how to recognise, respond and assist in these situations.
