Prayer Points

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort (2 Corinthians 1:3).
Give thanks for our wonderful Newcomers Morning Tea last Sunday. Give thanks for the organising team and all they did before, during and after to make it such a blessing. May we grow as a church that sees all people, moves towards each other, and thrives as we love and serve.
Pray that we will grow as a praying people- to rejoice always, pray continually, and give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for us in Christ Jesus (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).

For our mission partners:

Pray for CEIS staff as they adjust to ongoing unexpected changes. Pray for Jess as she juggles the timetable and volunteer availability, and for the whole team as they work to prepare Term 3 curriculum with a higher teaching load.
Pray Ezra & Mariya Lee as they use this preparation time to get ready to go to M: Learning Bahasa language via YouTube lessons. Please pray for them to have the ability to pick up this new language. Mariya has also been continuing her one-on-one mentoring via video calls with her YWAM Discipleship Training School students in Japan. Please pray for wisdom from God as she continues to journey with those students.

Announcements and Upcoming Events

We will be sharing the Lord’s Supper this Sunday. For those attending in person, the church will have disposable communion available but feel free to bring your own bread and juice.
Our Monthly Prayer meeting will be held on the 15 July (Tuesday) 7:45 pm -8:30 pm via ZOOM. Prayer Focus for July can be downloaded here.
Monetary givings for our church ministries can be placed in the Offering Box in the foyer or use Electronic Fund Transfer (see account details in the Weekly Newsletter).
Pastor Steve will take annual leave between July 7-14. For Pastoral Care needs please contact our elders Tony or Anndey.
CAACC is starting a WhatsApp Community to streamline communication of church news and other announcements. Pre-existing WhatsApp groups will begin to transition to the WhatsApp Community in due course.
